When
the PGA TOUR announced its 2007 Tournament schedule in January,
the Mayakoba Golf Classic at Riviera Maya - Cancun (MGC) became
the first TOUR event to go "south of the border."
The event, which will be held at the Mayakoba resort in Playa
del Carmen, México February 19 - 25, will be broadcast
on The Golf Channel and contested on the Greg Norman-designed
El Camaleón golf course.
This historic inaugural
Tournament will showcase the wonders of the Riviera Maya and
Cancún regions, the fierce competitiveness of top PGA
TOUR professionals, and the first-class hospitality of the Mayakoba
resort.
